Punjab & Sind Bank Post Software Developer interview experience

Image
Punjab and Sind Bank(Post: Software Developer, Min 1 year experience ): It was a two-step process, Written exam followed by an interview at Delhi Head office. I applied it to fulfill my earlier dream of working as an IT Officer in Bank. I cleared written again with the help of GATE preparation. My interview was good and I answered every question they asked. Questions were based on GATE subjects only and basics were asked. I told that I work on java JSP pages and databases (as the profile was of a developer). They asked ACID property, relational, database, hierarchical, etc, tree, hashing, RSA, public key, private key, linked list, double linked list, and many related questions and some HR questions. They were very impressed and I knew that I will get the offer. I didn’t prepare even a single day for this exam. Finally, I was selected and got joining letter but didn’t join. One having good basic cs subjects knowledge with some work experiences can easily crack and there is less com...

OMPL Engineer(IT) Experience

OMPL, a subsidiary of ONGC and MRPL(only 01 GEN seat) through GATE 2019 : Four candidates were called out of which only 2 attended including me. The other candidate had better GATE Rank than me but my interview went awesome. It was scheduled on 24th Feb’2020. The process consisted of GD and interview. In GD we all (candidates from different branches also) were divided into many groups of 5 each. In GD, we were asked to pick a chit on which topic was written. I got the topic Importance of Gender Equality in the Workplace and I had many points to say on this and my GD went well. In the interview, they asked many questions about my past job, my recent job, questions on my work profile, and from Computer science GATE subjects which can be answered by anyone seriously preparing for GATE. They also asked some HR questions like why I left my regular job and joined a contractual job – I answered based on salary and different job profiles on the relevant field. Lastly, they asked me to con...

BIS(Bureau of Indian Standards) Through GATE 2020                                               Interview Experience Due to COVID, the shortlisted candidates for interviews were asked to select the location Delhi or the nearest BIS center for interviews. The interview panel was at Delhi only, so interviews were conducted through Video Conferencing for all other centers except for Delhi.  I selected the Kolkata center for the interview. My interview date was 10th Aug'2020. There were 4 candidates in total at that location on that day from CS. Our reporting time was 9.00 AM. It started with document verification of all members one by one and then the interview started. Each member interviewed for 20-25 mins roughly. Each location was having different interview panel I guess. In document verification, they asked us to login to the GATE 2020 porta...
